Mission and Vision Statement

Welcome to the City of Richmond GIS Department. We provide mapping and GIS services for all city departments, engineers, and the public. These services can be in the form of maps or digital data.We began operations in 1999, and since that time have gone through many equipment and personnel changes. Our department currently includes a GIS Director, an Assistant GIS Director, and a GIS Analyst. Together we handle all mapping requests and strive to provide quality services in a prompt and friendly manner.
